Jeff Neill is an award-winning guitarist/songwriter/producer who earned early success with Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Streetheart. Along with playing guitar for the band, Jeff has managed all aspects of the band’s business affairs for the last decade and that has helped create a resurgence in the band's profile making them one of Canada’s top Classic Rock music franchises.
He toured extensively through North America with Canadian rock legends Loverboy in the mid 90’s and helped Loverboy achieve gold status (over 500,000 units sold) in the USA for their “Classics” CD.
Jeff also enjoyed international success with Australian rock icon, Jimmy Barnes. Jimmy continues to be one of Australia’s most respected and successful recording artists and their partnership will continue with talks in the works for a new music project together.
As a songwriter, Jeff has earned over 20 gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards with a total of over 4 million units sold worldwide.
Jeff has toured and played shows with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Sting, ZZ Top, Bryan Adams and has written with such notables as Jim Vallance, Jonathan Cain, and Keith Urban.
Jeff has worked as an arranger and music consultant for Disney. He was a featured composer on the hit international TV series, “Holmes/Makes It Right” and has a long list of credits writing music for both radio and television.
Jeff's musical philanthropy is evident in his involvement with the Mighty Hughes Foundation, whose series of benefit shows help raise funds that provide music therapy programs for the special needs community in BC. His #MusicForMac initiative in association with The Canadian Red Cross, generated over $15,000.00 to directly benefit the residents of the wildfires in Fort McMurray AB and the surrounding area.
