The Vancouver Island's Lions Clubs

We’re making a world of difference

Lions are changing the world one community at a time, by addressing needs at home and around the globe. We are 1.4 million men and women who believe that kindness matters. And when we work together, we can achieve bigger goals.

The Vancouver Islands Lions' Clubs', were our first sponsors, back in 1999, and are still our biggest sponsors. In fact, they allowed us to run our festival under their name. We originally advertised our festival as, "The Vancouver Islands Lions Clubs present, "Special Woodstock"


Each club donated funds and hours of their time to help organize the festival and help with all aspects of the day. We literally would not be here without their belief in Special Woodstock and their continued support. Words can never express our most heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of these giving and caring people.
